Outreach Opportunities
- Communication with our Compassion International child from Honduras, Manuel.
- Filling shoe boxes with prayers & presents to bring hope & joy to hurting children around the world for Samaritan's Purse.
- Participation in the annual Trike-a-thon to support St. Jude’s Children’s
Research Hospital. - Collecting donations for various community organizations such as
Twin Lakes Food Pantry, Sharing Center, and the Westosha Head Start Program.
Annual Preschool Events
- Our Silent Auction is one of our major fundraisers to help keep tuition costs down. This fun event features excellent entertainment, delicious hors d‘oeurves, and exquisite wines for ticket-holders to enjoy as they peruse and bid on the multitude of quality items and services provided by our donors.
- The Art Fair & Concert is a fun family event that celebrates the artistic uniqueness of each child. The children have created masterpieces in the styles of historical artists. After admiring the Children's Art Gallery, families are treated to an exciting, interactive, music concert!
- Graduation celebrates the completion of a child’s preschool experience with us and provides a send-off with God’s love.
- Our End-of-Year Picnic offers a fun time outside of the classroom for the children and staff to end the school year together and begin the summer.
Special Events
- The Christmas Program to celebrate Christ’s birth.
- Mini Programs to help the children become more comfortable in front of a crowd and to share the songs/lessons that are being taught.
- Specialty Parades to provide the children with opportunities to experience actually being in a parade.
- Field Trips to help the children experience their community and what it can offer.
- Week of the Young Child events to celebrate and bring public awareness to the importance of early childhood education.
Opportunities to Offer Support
- Shop at Pick & Save and use the Code Number: 504750 at checkout and 1% of the total sales will be given to the preschool.
- Shop at Sentry, ask for a sticker at the check-out, and turn your receipt in to us. Sentry will give us 1% of your receipt total.
- Three times a year we participate in Jewel's Shop N Share program. We receive 5% of the sale totals from people who shop Jewel during our three-day time periods. We provide the slips that need to be turned into the cashiers at check-out. Dates T.B.A.
- Volunteers are always needed to read to our children, to help with classroom projects occasionally, and to help with our fundraisers.
- Donations are appreciated (& tax deductible) for our silent auction. Monetary and memorial contributions are also welcomed.
